Burglars Hit Gas Station for Second Time
The Chevron location at Indian Hill and Arrow Highway is broken into, but no property stolen in overnight attack.

Bold burglars struck the Chevron Gas Station in Claremont only a day after first targeting it, according to Chamber of Commerce officials.
The chamber put out a business alert to warn business of the break-in.
“Just to confirm, this is the Chevron at Indian Hill and Arrow Highway,” Chamber officials wrote in their news release. “This gas station is closed at night.”

The second break-in was reported at 3:01 a.m. April 23. An alarm at 267 S. Indian Hill Blvd. had gone off, alerting police.
Officers said they found the front doors to the business had been pried open. They found that someone had then attempted to pry open the cash registers, but were unsuccessful, according to the business alert.

It does not appear that any property was stolen from the business, officials said. A video of the incident shows a dark colored sedan parked on the southwest side of the business, officials said.
The burglar appears to be a male in a dark hooded sweatshirt with a white emblem on the front, black gloves, dark pants and dark shoes, officials said.
