The Treasury of Claremont Music Concert takes place on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at the historic Garner House in Memorial Park. This event is a celebration of Claremont's musical legacy, for community members to come together and show their support for our cultural heritage. Tickets to the Concert are $40 each in advance/$50 at the door.   Claremont is a microcosm of the complexity of music culture at large. Its strength and diversity includes classical, pop/rock, jazz, world, sound art, electronic, and folk music - not to mention sub-genres and crossovers of each of those. The unique position of Claremont and its connections with its surrounding communities is rich enough for this kind of recognition and celebration of our cultural heritage.

The Forest Pavilion transforms into a glamorous summer dance party as The Secret Jazz Band charms with high-energy standards and romantic ballads. Relax under the stars for a moonlit concert, hit the dance floor to the rhythms of Golden Age swing, and enjoy Taste Wild native plant infused drinks for sale
Garden Groove presents unique musical performances framed by the unique sights, sounds, and smells of California Botanic Garden’s enchanting Forest Pavilion. Each concert features a local, small business drinks vendor featuring Taste Wild native plant inspired drink offerings. All tickets include admission to the Garden, plus member tickets include drink discounts!&nbsp;


Enjoy a pre-concert picnic in the Forest Pavilion: order a special Cheese Cave cheese platter for pickup at the Garden during the event. Platters include: 5 proteins (3 cheeses/2 meats or 5 cheeses), Olive/Cornichon mix, mini cracker pack, Mustard, Jam, Dried Fruit, and Quicos. Platters serve 2-4 people and orders must be placed by Tuesday at 5 PM before each Thursday concert. $21 General Admission&nbsp;

Ophelia’s Jump Productions (OJP) is thrilled to present a limited, four performance run of the cult-favorite hit musical, Ride the Cyclone, with book, music and lyrics by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell. Directed by Caitlin Lopez, Ride the Cyclone features Avery Norris, Coleman Payne, Spike Pulice, Kahlil Leneus, Brianna Oh, Chloe Reyes and Mohammed Mangrio. This production will be performed at the Don F. Fruechte Theatre for the Performing Arts in Claremont, from August 8 through 16, 2026.
About Ride the Cyclone
In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other
 –the chance to return to life. Through a wondrously funny and touching series of songs, the teen contestants argue that they should be the ones to be saved. Told with moving insights into adolescence as well as dark comedic style benefiting the outrageousness of its premise,&nbsp;Ride The Cyclone&nbsp;is a memorable and original musical. What makes a life well-lived? Who deserves to have a second chance? Which are the memories that we will treasure? All these questions and more are answered in Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell’s stunning work.&nbsp;
