Through the Doors tells the story of Odessa's strange journey across an abstract universe filled with singing creatures and mythical environments. Moving from one fantastic scene to the next, does Odessa get closer to learning her father's fate—or farther from the truth?

Composed by Pomona College faculty member Ania Vu with co-librettist Paul Karasik, this unstaged reading features BlackBox Ensemble with Amber Evans & Tamara Bevard, sopranos, and Scott Graff & Luc Kleiner, baritones.
