California Bank and Trust Robbery Suspect Sought in Claremont

Claremont police are seeking a suspect in Wednesday's California Bank and Trust bank robbery.

CLAREMONT, CA — A bank robbery in Claremont, California on Wednesday had police searching for the suspect.

"On October 26, 2016 at just before 5 p.m. the Claremont Police received a call about a robbery that had just occurred at California Bank and Trust, located at 102 Yale Ave.," the police report stated. "The suspect entered the bank and presented one of the tellers a note demanding money and that he had a gun."

The teller gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money and he fled the location out the southwest doors onto Yale Ave and First St.

"He was last seen running west on First St. towards Indian Hill Blvd.," they stated.

Though the suspect claimed to have had a firearm, no gun was seen on the suspect during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a Male Hispanic, 20's, wearing a white striped polo shirt, black jacket, black hat (Possibly "SOX" on the front), blue or black "Dickie" pants, with a hickey or other mark on the right side of his neck.
