City Of Claremont: Automated Waste Containers Placement Reminder

Residents are reminded to remove their automated waste containers from the street in a timely manner. The Claremont Municipal Code requires automated containers to be set out no sooner than the evening before the scheduled pickup day, and returned to an appropriate location on private property within twelve hours of being emptied. Automated containers left in the street can create potential safety and sight obstruction hazards for motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists. When on vacation or traveling, residents are encouraged to make arrangements for their containers.
