Happy Trails! Claremont Hills Wilderness Park (CHWP) parking permits will be available beginning December 6, 2021 at the Alexander Hughes Community Center (1700 Danbury Rd).  The center is open 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Fridays, and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Annual permits are sold for $140, are valid January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022, and may be used at the north or south parking lots with no restrictions.  Annual Permits are also reduced in price every three months by 25%. With proof of residency, residents are eligible for a FREE resident permit. Examples of proof of residency include a utility bill, driver’s license, or lease agreement.  Claremont College students are also eligible to receive one free resident permit with a valid student ID card. Resident permits may be used in the south parking lot located on N. Mills Ave. and Mt. Baldy Rd.
