The pandemic created tremendous challenges for Californians and each of the honorees went above and beyond the call of duty to protect, serve, and heal. Ms. Rodriguez has been a Vons Grocery store worker for 30 years and currently is the shop steward. Serving her community on the frontlines of the pandemic, she continued to work with her union brothers and sisters to provide excellent customer service to their loyal customers. On a daily basis, she came in close contact with the public and risked her health and safety because she needed to provide for her family.
The recognition ceremony will take place virtually on Thursday, May 26 at 5:00 p.m. Please visit the following link to join: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89837774233.
