It is important to the City that parks are kept in a clean, safe, and beautiful manner. Park restrooms are cleaned every night, landscape is detailed once a week, and trash is emptied three days a week. Every night, the restrooms are locked and cleaned in preparation for use during the day. The park custodial contractor notes any deficiencies, damages, or graffiti to City staff daily, which are then addressed by City staff. The City’s landscape contractor mows turf, trims planters, rakes leaves, and tests irrigation on a weekly basis. They also empty trash containers within City parks three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). Contracted landscape staff is not responsible for litter abatement throughout the park. City staff asks that park patrons clean up after themselves, so our parks stay clean for residents to enjoy. We appreciate your partnership in keeping the parks clean!
