The City of Claremont contracts with Azusa Reclamation for processing recyclable materials. Azusa Reclamation utilizes both an automated and manual process to sort recyclable materials. The facility is unable to effectively sort shredded paper and requests that shredded paper be placed in the black trash container. For ease of collection, please place shredded paper in a bag or sealed container prior to placing it in your black trash container. This step will help ensure that the shredded paper makes its way neatly into the collection trucks. For questions regarding recycling services and proper sorting, please contact the Community Services Department at (909) 399-5431.
