City Of Claremont: Sycamore Canyon Trail Rehabilitation Project

Phase II of the Sycamore Canyon Trail Rehabilitation Project will begin in December and is expected to be completed by February 28, 2022.  The trail will be closed intermittently throughout the course of project. Closures will be shared with park user on the City website, social media, and through email. The City is proud to partner with the California Conservation Corp (CCC) on this project. On behalf of the City, the CCC applied for and received approval of Prop 68 grant funding for this project. Trail rehabilitation will include the replacement of failing steps, regrading to prevent erosion, and trail redesign to improve on user experience and safety. For more information about this project, please call (909) 399-5490.
