The City of Claremont wants to make sure you have a great year on campus. In addition to the activities the Colleges host, the City has Concerts in the Park, Village Venture Street Faire, Holiday Promenade, and live bands in the Village on Friday nights. The City also provides free parking passes to Claremont students for our Wilderness Park, which offers miles of hiking and biking trails.
Your safety is a top priority for the City. The City’s Police Department works closely with Campus Security to ensure you feel safe on and off campus. In an effort to assist officers with patrol, parking is prohibited on City streets between the hours of 2am and 6am for more than one hour. If you need to park a car on the street, you may get an exemption online at www.claremontca.org or use the City’s Overnight Parking Exemption app. You may ask for three exemptions per month, per vehicle.

You may also want to register your bicycle at www.project529.com/garage to help our Police Department recover your bike if it is stolen. Our Police Department uses your registration information to return your bike when it is recovered.
The City encourages you to explore Claremont and beyond using Metrolink and Foothill Transit, which are located at the Claremont Depot at the corner of College Avenue and First Street. Tickets can be purchased at City Hall and at the Depot.
