Claremont Chamber to Host Restaurant Week
Several restaurants have signed on for the July event with more expected to come on board.

The Claremont Chamber of Commerce is getting geared up for an event that will showcase the city's eateries.
The chamber will host the inaugural Claremont Restaurant Week from July 9-16 where attendees can try the fare at more than 20 local eateries offering two-course lunch and/or three-course dinner prix fixe menus of special and regular dishes, according to a news release.
The prices will range from $10 to $40.

The following restaurants have confirmed so far:
American: The Press Restaurant, The Orchard Restaurant at The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Packing House Wine Merchant, Hotel Casa 425 + Lounge
Healthy American: Pita Pit Claremont; The Last Drop Cafe
Healthy Californian: Zpizza
Italian: Eddie’s New York Pizzeria, La Parolaccia Osteria Italiana, Aruffo’s, Tutti Mangia Italian Grill
Japanese: Kazama Sushi
Mediterranean: Saca’s
Mexican: Casa de Salsa, Casa Moreno
New American & Afghan: Walter’s Restaurant
Portuguese: Euro Cafe
Vegan: Loving Hut Claremont

The chamber looked at events like Pasadena Cheeseburger Week, which offers customers discounts at certain restaurants for a set period of time, as inspiration for Claremont's event, according to Maureen Aldridge, the chamber's chief executive officer.
“…the Claremont event is a great way to showcase our restaurants and chefs," she said in a news release. “It's also a chance for diners to try new eateries and dishes.”
The public can preview the fixed-price menus closer to July and get full information from all the involved restaurants at www.ClaremontRestaurant.com; Reservations for tables must be made by caling each individual restaurants.
