With high temperatures expected this weekend, the Hughes Center and Claremont Library will both be open as Cooling Centers. The Wilderness Park will be closed this weekend due to local fires and heat wave warnings.

On Tuesday, August 11, the Claremont City Council adopted an urgency ordinance setting fines for non-compliance with State and County mask orders. We would like to remind all of our residents to continue to be cautious. As of Thursday, August 13, Los Angeles County public health officials have reported 291 total coronavirus cases and seven deaths in the City since the onset of the pandemic.
