Claremont Demonstration At Indian Hill Blvd And Foothill
Officers did approach several participants to request they wear a mask, however they were told the individuals had medical exemptions.

Today from 10am to 2pm, there was a “Claremont Freedom Rally” on the corner of Indian Hill and Foothill Blvd. Demonstrators were carrying Trump signs and were standing on the street corners and Old School House parking lot. Counter demonstrators with BLM and anti-police signs were also present. The Police Department was aware of the rally and had officers in the area. The rally was publicized and attended by members of the Mountain View Republican Club (offices in the Old School House building)

(County Health order allows for protests and exempts individuals with medical conditions from wearing a mask. Medical privacy laws prohibit the City from requesting proof or asking details on medical conditions)
Demonstrations of all kinds are common at this location and allowed under the First Amendment
