Now that the holiday season is over and with dozens of apps that specialize in buying and selling, the Claremont Police Department would like to remind residents and users of apps like “OfferUp” to remember that it pays to be careful.

The Claremont Police Department recently apprehended three male juveniles suspected of armed robbery on December 28 after responding to a report of an armed robbery near First Street and Indian Hill Boulevard from an agreement for sale of merchandise negotiated through OfferUp. Remember that crooks will do anything to earn a quick buck.
