Older adults who participated in the Senior Program’s drive-thru lunch service this week got some surprise holiday cheer and treats from festive visitors! On December 23, longtime Blaisdell Community Center volunteers Jeff & Carol Jensen and Robin Ring, who annually dress up for Blaisdell lunch patrons as Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their elf, respectively, kept this tradition alive with a Santa station of their own. Along with giving season’s greetings to familiar faces, they also helped distribute holiday goodie bags created by Webb School’s Interact Club. To top it all off, the Claremont Colleges donated candy canes for all senior patrons to enjoy. Thank you to our sponsors and volunteers for making this festive and memorable week possible!
