Claremont Driving Over Sidewalks Prohibited

November 17, 2020

Vehicles are not permitted to drive across any public sidewalk, or use ramps or blocks to jump public street curbs (except over permanently constructed drive approaches), to access rear or interior side yards. Properties where vehicles jump curbs, even to access permitted parking areas, are in violation of the City’s Municipal Code and could be found liable for damages to the public sidewalk or curb.
