Claremont: Emanate Health Hosts Virtual Coronavirus Town Hall On Dec. 16

With a vaccine just around the corner, Emanate Health is hosting a free COVID-19 Virtual Town meeting via Facebook Live on Wednesday, December 16, at 11 a.m. Click on the Emanate Health Facebook page to access the event.

The Town Hall is designed to help keep our communities informed and safe on the COVID-19 vaccine, its distribution and the importance of following public health guidelines during the pandemic.

We are partnering with the City of Covina, the City of Glendora, and the City of West Covina to get the word out to our communities in the San Gabriel Valley and to help us get answers to the many questions you may have.

• Establish the severity of the current COVID-19 surge and its potential impact over the holidays
• Encourage commitment to MaskUp and support of other public health guidelines
• Educate communities about the COVID-19 vaccine, its effectiveness, and the timeline and phases for distribution
• Explain the meaning of the 15% ICU bed availability and the impact of personal responsibility during stay-at-home orders
• Emphasize Don’t Delay Your Care. Like many hospitals in LA County, we are still providing required elective procedures, emergency care and COVID-19 treatment
