Claremont Gas Prices Drop Slightly Monday
Gas Prices in LA County remain over $3 per gallon, nearly .50 cents higher than one year ago, AAA says.

CLAREMONT, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped one-tenth of a cent Monday to $3.061 after being unchanged the previous two days.
The average price is 2.6 cents more than one week ago, 15.8 cents higher than one month ago and 48.1 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
A nine-day streak of increases through Friday pushed the average price to its highest amount since Jan. 8, 2016, $3.062.

The Orange County average price was unchanged Monday, remaining at $3.058, one day after rising one-tenth of cent. It is 1.1 cents more than one week ago, 14.8 cents higher than one month ago and 49.8 cents greater than one year ago.
The Orange County average price has dropped two-tenths of a cent following a nine-day streak of increases through Thursday that pushed the average price to its highest amount since Jan. 7, 2016, $3.06.
