Claremont: Household Hazardous Waste Round Up At City Yard
There is a limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of waste per trip.

The Los Angeles County Sanitation District will host a FREE Household Hazardous Waste Drive-Thru Collection Event on Saturday, February 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Claremont City Yard. The event address is 1616 Monte Vista Avenue, Claremont.

Attendees will be asked to wear a face covering and stay in their vehicle with the windows closed. Waste should be carefully placed in a sturdy box in the trunk or truck bed to allow for socially distanced collection.
HHW items includes any product labeled: toxic, poison, combustible, corrosive, flammable, or irritant. Common types of HHW include electronic waste, paints, pesticides, lubricants, drain cleaners, fluorescent light bulbs, prescription medication, and batteries. Sharps disposal will require exiting your vehicle in designated locations to deposit them in a bin. There is a limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of waste per trip.
