Claremont: Household Hazardous Waste Round Up In Diamond Bar

The Los Angeles County Sanitation District will resume hosting Household Hazardous Waste Drive-Thru Collection Events starting March 13 in Diamond Bar. The County previously cancelled events that were scheduled January through early March due to COVID-19. The Diamond Bar event will be held at the following location:

Attendees will be asked to wear a face covering and stay in their vehicle with the windows closed. Waste should be carefully placed in a sturdy box in the trunk or truck bed to allow for socially distanced collection.
HHW items includes any product labeled: toxic, poison, combustible, corrosive, flammable, or irritant. Common types of HHW include electronic waste, paints, pesticides, lubricants, drain cleaners, fluorescent light bulbs, prescription medication, and batteries. Sharps disposal will require exiting your vehicle in designated locations to deposit them in a bin. There is a limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of waste per trip.
