Claremont Housing Element Update Community Meeting

The community is invited to a Zoom community meeting on the 2021-2028 Housing Element Update on December 17 at 6:30 p.m. This introductory meeting will cover the process of updating the Housing Element and how the community can provide input on the plan and potential housing sites. Following the meeting, the City will publish an interactive map of all the potential sites to solicit feedback from the community that will be used to narrow down a list of potential housing sites to fulfill the States requirement for housing. The presentation and map will be available on Friday, December 18 on the Housing Element page on the City website. Over the next few months, the City will hold additional meetings to gather input on specific sites identified by the consultant for potential housing.
