On January 9 of each year, citizens across the country take the lead to show their support of law enforcement personnel on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Law Enforcement Officers of every rank and file have chosen a profession that puts their life at risk and on the line every day for the safety of their communities.

They have answered to the demanding call to public service that is often underappreciated. The jobs are often thankless and take them away from their own families and loved ones for long, dedicated hours. Rarely, do they know what their day has in store for them. On National Law Enforcement Day, the Claremont Police Department would like to thank our brothers and sisters/colleagues in this line of work for their service and sacrifices each day as they strive to keep all of our communities safe.
