Claremont: No Dogs In City Parks
Pet owners will be required to provide their own doggie waste bags. And, always remember to pick up after your pets.
February 25, 2021
While we understand dogs and their owners need a place to exercise, dogs are not permitted in City parks. Dogs are permitted off-leash at the Claremont Pooch Park and Rancho San Jose Park. Dogs are allowed on-leash at the Thompson Creek Trail, Claremont Hills Wilderness Park, and Padua Avenue Park. Doggie waste bags are not available at any City park, including the areas where dogs are allowed. Pet owners will be required to provide their own doggie waste bags. And, always remember to pick up after your pets.
