Claremont: Officer Arrests Alleged Claremont Drug Dealer
The male driver, 39 year-old Claremont resident, was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm and possession for sales.

On Sunday, November 22 at approximately 11:08AM, a CPD officer attempted to stop a white VW Jetta occupied by a male driver and female passenger for a traffic violation in the area of Indian Hill Blvd. and Bonita Ave. The vehicle failed to yield and a vehicle pursuit ensued until the it lost control, colliding into small trees in the area of Elder Dr. and Green St. Upon officers conducting a search of the vehicle, they found a loaded .380 Jimenez Arms Inc. handgun located inside a sock in the center console and a loaded Springfield Armory XD 9mm handgun on the ground. Also found inside the vehicle was Xanax, heroin, and methamphetamine, all packaged for sales. The male driver, 39 year-old Claremont resident, was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm and possession for sales.
