Claremont: Placement Of Waste Containers
Containers left in the street and other public rights-of-way can create safety hazards for motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists.
December 22, 2020
When planning around the holidays, residents are reminded to ensure that waste containers are removed from the public street in a timely manner. The Claremont Municipal Code requires that waste containers be set out no sooner than the evening before the scheduled pick-up day, and taken in within 12 hours of being emptied. Containers left in the street and other public rights-of-way can create safety hazards for motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists. For more information, please contact the Community Improvement Division at (909) 399-5467.
