Claremont Police Now Enforcing Parking Restrictions Near Wilderness Park
Residential parking permits are now required in ten zones near the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park.

The Claremont Police Department is now enforcing residential parking zones that were recently established near the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park, city officials said.
According to City Manager Tony Ramos' latest community report, only vehicles displaying newly-required residential parking placards will be allowed to park on the following streets:
- Pomello Drive: westerly end to Grand Avenue
- Dillard Avenue
- St. Gregory Street
- Pennsylvania Place
- Independence Drive
- Mills Avenue: Pomello Drive to Alamosa Drive
- Brigham Young Drive: Mills Avenue to the easterly end of the cul-de-sac
- Alamosa Drive: Mills Avenue to Bonnie Brae Avenue
- Elmira Avenue, north of Pomello Drive
- Vincennes Court, north of Pomello Drive
If you want to visit the Wilderness Park, then you must park in one of two parking lots, located near the entrance. You'll need a different permit to park there, or to pay at the parking meter on site.
Resident and annual visitor permits are available at City Hall and the Alexander Hughes Community Center.
