Claremont Residents Warned to Beware of Burglars
At least three Claremont homes were hit in similar fashion last week.

Burglars have been targeting homes in the northern end of the Claremont and officials are warning residents to be vigilant and take steps to protect against it.
At least three home burglaries were reported in the 1000 and 2000 block of Oxford Avenue, and the 800 block of West Baseline Road as of last week, according to Claremont’s City Manager, Tony Ramos
“In each case, it appears that the suspect(s) entered the residences through unlocked windows and/or sliding glass doors to the rear of the homes,” Ramos wrote in a report. “The suspect(s) stole property that could be carried on their person(s) or in a small bag such as a backpack. Stolen property includes jewelry, currency, and laptop.”
