Claremont: Thanksgiving Sponsors For Senior Drive-Through Meal Service

Senior lunch service was extra special this week in celebration of Thanksgiving due to the generosity of community partners. On Monday, November 23, staff distributed Stater Bros. gift cards to each lunch patron for any of their Thanksgiving grocery shopping needs, thanks to a sponsorship from Golden State Water. On Wednesday, November 25, each older adult client received their own pumpkin pie courtesy of the Office of Supervisor Hilda Solis, along with a handmae Thanksgiving card created by students of Claremont High’s National Honor Society. We are thankful to these community members for making the holidays a little brighter for our seniors!
