Claremont: Thanksgiving Week Gas Prices

How much is gas this week? AAA has released that gas prices in LA County are dropping as drivers hit the road for the holiday. Fill up!

CLAREMONT, CA — Gas prices continue to drop in Los Angeles County Thanksgiving Week as residents are hitting the road.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Tuesday for the 15th consecutive day and 17th time in 18 days, decreasing 1.1 cents to $2.755.

The average price has dropped 14.6 cents over the past 18 days, including a half-cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The average price is 8.3 cents less than one week ago, 8.4 cents lower than one week ago and 6.6 cents below what it was one year ago.

In Orange County, the average price dropped for the 18th consecutive day, decreasing nine-tenths of a cent to $2.739. It has dropped 15.1 cents over the past 18 days, including a half-cent on Monday.

The Orange County average price is 8.5 cents less than one week ago, 8.6 cents lower than one week ago and 4.7 cents below what it was one year ago.
