Did you know that a motor vehicle is stolen every 40.9 seconds in the United States (according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration)?

CPD would like to remind everyone that we are all susceptible to vehicle theft. It is extremely important to remember to do the following when you park and exit your vehicle:

Look and be aware of your surroundings.

Lock and close all windows and doors to your vehicle.

Remove all valuables in your vehicle.

Repeat these steps every time you park and exit your vehicle as well as in the evening.
