Claremont's National Night Out Begins At 6 p.m. At Memorial Park

REMINDER: The annual event is today - Tuesday, Aug. 3 - from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with K9 "Drew," community booths & hot dogs for sale.

CLAREMONT, CA — Claremont's National Night Out, the annual evening marked nationwide to promote police-first responder partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, is today — Tuesday, Aug. 3 — from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Memorial Park.

On site will be booths from the City Council, Claremont Police Department, Police Explorers, Community Patrol Volunteers, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Human Services, Community Services, Claremont Boy/Girl scout troops, Claremont Meals on Wheels and Foothill Family Health Services, along with the Claremont Kiwanis selling pre-packaged food and hot dogs.

Don't miss the dunk tank — with the chance to “Dunk-a-Council Member.”

Also on hand will be Officer Morales and his K9 partner "Drew," a bloodhound and the newest addition to the Claremont Police Department.

Residents can purchase miniature, stuffed-toy versions of K9 Drew for $20 (cash or check only) at the police department booth.
