Conversation with Susan Straight author of Take One Candle Light a Room

A Conversation with Susan Straight, author of Take One Candle Light a Room  promises to be a lively journey through the world of a writer.  She was born, raised, and continues to live in Riverside, but she is willing to take her characters to a variety of well defined and excellently rendered places far afield.  She is a prolific author of thoughtful articles, short stories, and novels.  The On the Same Page selection is one book in a trilogy, the other two titles:  A Million Nightingales and Between Heaven and Here.  She speaks with humor, affection, and deep understanding for her home town, for the power of family, and for the complex and singular characters she has created.

Susan will have an assortment of her books available for purchase and signing after the talk.   Cash or checks only, please.
