Cooking Class: Yucatan Adventure

While vacationing in Merida a few years ago, I was fortunate to receive instruction from Chef David Sterling of the Los Dos Cooking School in preparing some authentic Mayan dishes Here is what I'd like to share: Ensalada Xek (jicama, cucumber and orange salad),Pescado Pibil (whitefish baked in banana leaves with achiote paste), Arroz Rojo, (red rice) and for dessert, Plantanos Fritos (plantains with honey and cinnamon). Fruity sangria, made with (or without) red wine will be our beverage.

$50 per person. 10 percent discount for 2 or more people attending together.
