According to the CHP, Roudsari made an "unsafe turning movement" to the right as he was on the connector road and the motorcycle moved onto the right shoulder.
The bike rolled into loose dirt and gravel, causing Roudsari to lose control, and he was ejected onto the road, the CHP reported. The motorcycle sustained only minor damage.

Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected to be factors.
The connector road was closed for about two hours while an investigation was conducted.
