Claremont and Region Celebrate July Fourth
Claremont is preparing to observe Independence Day with a party.

Claremont is ready to celebrate Independence Day in grand style again with its annual Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular at Strehle Track at Pomona College. The celebration includes a rock and roll concert and the fireworks show. Gates open 6:30 p.m. Concert begins at 6:45 p.m.
If you can't make it to Claremont's event, check out these fireworks shows all over the region:
- The event will go from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at Suzanne Park. Besides the headlining fireworks, the celebration will include live music from the band Nonsense at 7:30 p.m., patriotic face painting, games, a pie eating contest and other activities. Residents are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets, canopies and picnic baskets.The city is not allowing barbecue grills or other cooking appliances.

Pomona - The Pomona Fairplex will host the 26th annual fireworks show Kaboom. The event features Monster trucks and Moto X extreme and a fireworks grand finale. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $17.50 for trackside bleachers, $19.50 for a reserved box seat, $47 for adult and $29 for child for a reserved box seat with a buffet meal and $42 adult and $23 for child for a terrace seat with a buffet meal.
West Covina – The city and the West Covina Muscular Dystrophy Association will host their 22nd annual Independence Day Celebration event at Edgewood School Campus, 1625 W. Durness St. The all-day event starts with Pancake Breakfast at Hurst Ranch from 8–11 a.m. The program includes carnival rides, vendors, food from 4-11 p.m. Live music will be feature Sangria from 6–9 p.m. Fireworks start at 9 p.m. Cost is $1 entry at 4 p.m.

Upland – The city will present its 26th annual Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular Celebration at Upland High School football stadium, 565 W. 11th St. Tickets are $8 per person. Children 2 years and under are free. The ticket booth and admission gates at the stadium will open at 5:30 p.m. The band Midnight Ride will perform beginning at 6 p.m. The fireworks is scheduled at 9 p.m.
Anaheim – Disneyland, 1313 North Harbor Blvd., will have a special firework show July 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th at 9:30 p.m.
Anaheim – The city will host the Canyon Hills community’s 4th of July celebration at Peralta Canyon Park, 115 N. Pinney. The event starts at 12:30 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Buena Park - Knott’s Berry Farm will have a 4th of July aerial fireworks show at 10 p.m. They will also have an ice show “Happiness is … Snoopy!”. the “All Wheels Extreme” show and Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular.
Fullerton – The Fourth of July Festival and Fireworks Show will be held at Fullerton High School Stadium, 700 N. Lemon St. Fireworks start at 9 p.m. Admission is free. The event features live entertainment.
Ontario - If you want to drive in a little deeper Inland, Ontario holds a large event that starts with a parade at 9 a.m. along Euclid Avenue. The All-States Picnic, which celebrates the many places the original city’s residents came from, at 10:30. The fireworks show starts at 9 p.m. at Westwind Park, 2455 E. Riverside Drive. Admission is free.
