Diasbled Vietnam Veteran Runs in 10th Annual US Bank OC Marathon

Paula Hamilton of Ontario is a disabled Vietnam Veteran that was one of the first females Torpedoman's Mate SUBROC Missile Technician in the Navy. Despite Paula’s arthritis and age (58), she runs for Team Red, White, and Blue which is a group for veterans that helps them transition from warrior to civilian. Paula is always smiling and enjoys meeting and swapping stories with other veterans, and believes that having fun is the most important thing to do while running.

You’ll find Paula participating this Sunday, May 4th 2014 at the 10th Annual US Bank OC Marathon starting in Newport Beach, CA and ending in Costa Mesa. With over 22,000 runners participating in the marathon, half marathon, Wahoo’s OC 5K, and Kids Run the OC, this is sure to be a record-breaking year for the US Bank OC Marathon.
