Draft Sustainable Claremont City Plan Update Available For Public Review

The final draft of the updated Sustainable City Plan is now available for final review.

The Council-appointed Sustainability Committee began working in May 2019 to update the Sustainable City Plan. The Committee has held 16 public meetings since that time to solicit feedback, review, and discuss proposed updates to the plan. The final draft of the updated Sustainable City Plan is now available for final review. The plan will be reviewed at the following upcoming Commission meetings:

Planning Commission: Tuesday, March 2 at 7:00 p.m.

Goal Area 4: Sustainable Built Environment

Community and Human Services Commission: Wednesday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m.

Goal Area 7: Public Outreach and Education.

Traffic and Transportation Commission: Thursday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m.

Goal Area 3: Transportation

Commission meeting agendas with login instructions are posted on the calendar listing here on the City website. Members of the public interested in providing comments on the final plan are invited to attend the above meetings or submit written comments to Kristin Mikula, Community Services Manager at kmikula@ci.claremont.ca.us. The comment period will be open through Monday, March 29 at 5:00 p.m.
