Cooking Class: Rockin' Moroccan

We'll be cooking Casbah-style! First, a steamed spinach salad with preserved lemons and olives. Then a traditional lentil and garbanzo soup called harira. The traditional b'stila is a phyllo pie filled with almonds, eggs and, usually, pigeons -- ours will be filled with seafood instead. For dessert, we'll make dates stuffed with an almond filling. Minted sparkling white wine and/or minted green tea will be the beverages for the evening.

The cost of each 2-1/2 hour class is $50 per person, which includes a shared dinner with beverages, a recipe packet (so you can re-create each dish in your own kitchen), and advice in locally sourcing exotic ingredients. There is a 10 percent discount for 2 or more people attending together. Call 909-625-9194 to reserve your place. Advance registration is required.
