John Brantingham is an award winning poet whose work has appeared on Garrison Keillor’s Writer’s Almanac and hundreds of magazines. He is the author of poetry collections such as East of Los Angeles, Putting in a Window and others.

Class #1:          September 8, 9am-1pm with a 30 minute break. RSVP by September 5

Writing from the Body – Developing poetry that conveys universal themes through personal experience.

 

Class #2:          September 15, 9am-1pm with a 30 minute break. RSVP by September 12

Using Form to Create Ideas – Learn how formal poetry can help to bring out ideas that they never knew they had. 

 

Class #3:          September 22, 9am-1pm with a 30 minute break. RSVP by September 19

 Ways to Find Your Poem –Develop techniques to strength poetry writing skills and avoid writer’s block.
