Gas Leak Prompts Dorm Evacuation At University Of La Verne
A gas leak prompted a partial evacuation at the University of La Verne, Monday, including a dormitory, according to officials.

LA VERNE, CA — Construction workers in the area of the University of La Verne ruptured a natural gas line Monday at just after 1:30 p.m., according to officials. SoCal Gas responded to the scene.
Buildings in the area of 2100 block of E Street were evacuated during the repair, including a dormitory, while workers repair the line, according to the La Verne Police Department.
