Gas Prices Decrease Slightly in Claremont, Los Angeles County Cities
Gas prices declined a tenth of a cent on Tuesday in Claremont, Laverne, and other Los Angeles County cities, according to reports.
Los Angeles, CA--A nine-day streak of increases in the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County ended today with an decrease of one-tenth of a cent to $2.969.
The average price rose 7.8 cents during the streak, including three-tenths of a cent on Monday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 6.7 cents more than one week ago and 13.3 cents higher than one month ago but 59.5 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
