CLAREMONT, CA — It's time to fill up that tank. Gas prices in Los Angeles County and San Gabriel Valley have dropped again, AAA says.
In Claremont, the cheapest gasoline was at the ARCO station located at East Foothill Boulevard and North Claremont Boulevard at $2.83 per gallon of regular unleaded as of Thursday afternoon.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped three-tenths of a cent Thursday to $3.038, the fifth decrease in six days.

The average price of regular, self serve gasoline in Orange County has dropped three-tenths of a cent to $3.024, 1 cent less than one week ago but 1.9 cents more than one month ago and 21 cents higher than one year ago.
The average price is 1.2 cents lower than one week ago, 2.3 cents more than one month ago and 20.5 cents higher than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
