Gas Prices Drop in Claremont: Time to Fill Up

Don't worry if your gas tank is closing on empty, it's time to fill up in LA County according to AAA. Here is why gas prices are lower.

CLAREMONT, CA — One week before Thanksgiving Holiday, gas prices are dropping across southern California according to the Automobile Club of Southern California's Marie Montgomery. Dropping gas prices are attributed to the Nov. 1 switch to winter blend gasoline, which is cheaper to produce, and the fact supplies are adequate to meet demand, Montgomery said.

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Thursday for the 10th consecutive day and 12th time in 13 days, decreasing 1.7 cents to $2.804.
