Gas Prices Fall In Claremont: Fill 'Er Up Friday!
Road trip time! Gas prices are falling across Orange and Los Angeles Counties. According to the AAA Service, it's a great time to fill up.

CLAREMONT, CA — It's a great weekend for a road trip! Gas prices are dropping in Orange County this week, and according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price information Service, now is the time to fill up the tank.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped a half-cent Wednesday to $3.658, the sixth consecutive decrease after rising eight-tenths of a cent the previous two days.
The average price has dropped 1.8 cents over the past six days, including two-tenths of a cent on Tuesday, AAA said.

The average price is 1.5 cents less than one week ago and 6.1 cents lower than one month ago but 75.6 cents higher than one year ago. It has risen 50.8 cents since the start of the year because of increasing oil prices stemming from strong worldwide demand, according to Marie Montgomery of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
The Orange County average price dropped a half-cent to $3.60, the fifth decrease in six days. It is 1.4 cents less than one week ago and 8 cents lower than one month ago but 73.4 cents higher than one year ago. It has risen 48.4 cents since the start of the year.
