Glendora Pet Sweep Continues: What Animal Lovers Need To Know

If you own pets in San Gabriel Valley's unincorporated areas you will need to ensure all pets are properly licensed, LA Animal Control says.

GLENDORA, CA — Los Angeles County animal-control officers began visiting homes in unincorporated areas near La Puente, Claremont, La Verne, Glendora, San Dimas and West Covina to ensure residents' pets are properly licensed.

The Field enforcement officers from county Department of Animal Care and Control started their checks on Wednesday, to ensure that dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and properly vaccinated.

California law requires that all dogs and cats over the age of four months be licensed and vaccinated.
