The California Earthquake Authority (CEA) would like to remind Claremont residents the importance of earthquake preparedness.
February 25, 2020
Is your home earthquake-ready? The California Earthquake Authority (CEA) would like to remind Claremont residents the importance of earthquake preparedness. Most Californians live within 30 miles of an active fault, and there is a 75% chance that a magnitude 7.0 or larger earthquake will occur sometime in the next 30 years in Southern California. Claremont homeowners can take advantage of the CEA’s “Brace & Bolt” program, where they may qualify for up to $3,000 toward a seismic retrofit of their homes. The application period is February 19 through March 19, 2020. For more information, visit www.earthquakebracebolt.com or call (877) 232-4300.
