Saturday's events as part of the 5th annual Holiday Half Marathon include the Holiday 5K on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 9 a.m. followed by the free Penguin Waddle Kids Fun Run at 10 a.m. The Kids Run waves, by age group will continue until noon.
The Holiday 5K is close to being a sell out with limited registration still available on race day at the Kool N' Fit Festival at Fairplex. The Kids Run is already sold out.
Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center is serving as the Official Hospital Sponsor with more than 25 physicians, nurses, physical therapists and other hospital staff. Other sponsors include: Host Venue - Fairplex; Festival Sponsor - Kool 'N Fit; Results Sponsor - YP; Costume Contest Sponsor - Dick's Sporting Goods; Race Warm Up Sponsor - Keurig; Official Energy Br and Gel - Clif Bar; and Community Partner - Michelob Ultra.
