This (Job) Fair is Free for Attendees

POMONA, Calif. – The Los Angeles County Fair will have concluded, but Pomona will be the site of another important fair on Thursday, Sept. 29. The Pomona Job, College and Veterans Fair will be held at Purpose Church from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

The event is free to the public and open to everyone, regardless of age, skill sets, job status or education level. Purpose Church is located at 601 N Garey Ave. in Pomona. To register, visit www.purposechurch.com.

The Pomona job fair is presented in partnership with Church Job Fairs, which works with churches to present job fairs throughout California by providing job seekers with hope and encouragement, while introducing them to a welcoming local church and delivering enthusiastic job candidates to employers.

Many of the region’s leading companies, government organizations, staffing agencies, nonprofit organizations and other businesses will recruiting to fill positions in accounting, administration, clerical, customer service, education, financial services, health care, nursing, law enforcement, management, manufacturing, non-profit, sales, transportation and more.
