La Verne Chamber Of Commerce: Pomona Valley Habitat For Humanity Hosts Charity Golf Classic

How would you like to golf at a private country club, while raising funds for a great local nonprofit? Join Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity for its Charity Golf Classic on Monday, Aug. 30, at Western Hills Country Club in Chino Hills. Registration opens at 8 a.m., and the shotgun start is at 10 a.m.
They are seeking volunteers for a set-up shift in the morning or help with afternoon activities, in addition to help with planning and donations of auction items, such as a basket, gift card, or specialty item.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the work of Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity in Chino, Chino Hills, Claremont, Covina, Diamond Bar, Glendora, La Puente, La Verne, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga, San Dimas, Upland, Walnut and West Covina.
